Hi Community,

Join Patrice Nagle, an employment attorney with Fisher Phillips, LLP, for a San Diego Tech Hub webinar covering California’s newly enacted SB 95, which dramatically extends and expands employers’ obligation to provide supplemental paid sick leave to employees impacted by COVID-19.

Among other things, this new requirement applies to employers with more than 25 employees, establishes a new “bank” of COVID-19 related sick leave for covered employees for 2021 – even if such leave was previously provided in 2020 and expands the qualifying reasons to include vaccine-related reasons.

This legislation went into effect on March 29, 2021, and applies retroactively back to January 1, 2021 – creating logistical and compliance challenges for California employers.

This webinar will provide details on the new law and its requirements, so you can move quickly to comply with this new and complicated mandate. This is one you cannot afford to miss!”
