SDTH is a business networking group and social good organization aimed at creating opportunities for professionals while identifying ways to positively impact our community. We are a community of professionals, volunteers, students, and community leaders who want to strengthen the San Diego community and drive social change. SDTH was started in January of 2019 and by December 2019 had grown to over 2,000 members. 

SDTH was created for those who represent one or both of these passions: 

  • Business: Professionals looking for jobs, employers looking for employees, businesses looking for clients, startups looking for resources. 
  • Social Good: Social Change Makers looking to volunteer their time or resources to help others in need.

SDTH is inclusive of all tech sectors and represents all individuals directly and tangentially involved with tech innovation:

  • Those that build technology solutions
  • Those that drive technology solutions
  • Those that want to break into the tech ecosystem

As a member of SDTH, or a “Conduit” you will have the opportunity to get involved in the community in a number of ways:

  • Authentically network with some of the most influential members of the San Diego tech community.
  • Help impact the lives of members of our community by connecting the dots and creating opportunities for those in need.
  • Change lives by becoming a mentor or mentee in our mentorship program.
  • Be part of our vibrant Slack community with thousands of members discussing topics ranging from talent acquisition, mentorship, education, and inclusion to impactful local events.
  • Join our inclusive monthly meeting to get connected, informed, and empowered with knowledge to drive social good and/or your personal development. 
  • Get involved with one of our SDTH passion projects or preferred partner organizations.

SDTH membership is absolutely free! In fact, you’ll most likely find value that you will take with you for the rest of your life. Our events are also free thanks to the support of our sponsors, listed on our Events page.

Joining is easy; all you need to do is sign up. Once you are a member, or Conduit, you will receive occasional emails, invites to community events, and access to our exclusive Slack community. Add San Diego Tech Hub as experience or as an interest to your personal LinkedIn and extend your network with our community of professionals.
